How do I use Equal Crossing in combination with Brenger?

With the service called Equal Crossing, the Online Payment Platform of Marktplaats holds the money until the package is delivered. From Brenger you will receive an email with info from the courier about what time it will be picked up, this is a replacement for the Track & Trace. As soon as you indicate on Marktplaats that the product has been received, the buyer will be paid, or if you have not indicated anything after 7 days. If you indicate that you have not received the items, you will receive your money back after being checked by Marktplaats.

How it works

Step 1. Arrange the pick-up with the seller

Don’t forget to ask the seller about the following:

• Pick-up situation: at the front door on the ground floor or on an upper floor?
• Availability for pick-up: day and time.
• Dimensions and weight of the object.
• Contact details: address, telephone number and e-mail.

Step 2. Place your transport request

• Enter the pick-up and delivery locations on the homepage and you can view the total price right away.
• Enter the remaining details, such as the dimensions of your item and whether you’ll need help to lift and move the item. You can also tell us whether you want the courier to carry out a live quality check on the item. You can read more about this at the bottom of this page.
• Pay for the delivery using our platform. You can do this via iDeal, credit card and other (Belgian) payment methods.

Step 3. We will let you know the exact time slot

• Once you have paid, our professional couriers for this route will be able to accept your order.
• You will then be informed of the exact time slot and the details of the courier, so that you can contact each other.

Step 4. It’s over to the courier

• The courier will pick up and deliver your item(s) at the agreed times.
• All your items are insured up to €1,000 while they are being transported.
• You can confirm receipt as soon as the item has been delivered and the courier will receive payment.
