List of prohibited items for shipping via Brenger
This list outlines the types of items that may not be shipped using Brenger service. These restrictions help ensure the safety of our couriers, compliance with legal regulations, and protection of all parties involved.
Goods exceeding Brenger’s weight and size limits: Any Good that exceeds the published maximum weight or dimensions is not eligible for shipment.
Goods requiring specialized equipment: Any Good that requires specialized equipment to be transported, such as pallet jacks, forklifts, cranes, trailers, moving lifts, or similar tools.
Goods requiring special capabilities: Any Good that requires special care, skills or training to be moved safely — such as pianos, medical equipment, or other delicate or complex items.
Loose, unpackaged materials: Goods consisting of loose materials without (original) packaging, such as sand, gravel, bricks, tiles, or similar bulk items.
Dangerous Goods: Any Good classified as hazardous under ADR (European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road), including but not limited to:
- Flammable, explosive, corrosive, or toxic substances
- Gas cylinders or fuel containers (even if empty)
- Paints, solvents, or industrial chemicals
Living or dead organisms: Transport of organic material is strictly prohibited, including but not limited to:
- Plants, flowers, or seeds
- Pets, insects, or animals (dead or alive)
- Animal parts or biological samples
Food and perishable Goods: Any Good that is temperature-sensitive or has a short shelf life.
Illegal Goods: Any Good prohibited by national or EU law, including but not limited to:
- Counterfeit Goods
- Narcotics or drug-related Goods
- Weapons or ammunition
Valuable Goods: High-value or one-of-a-kind Goods, including but not limited to:
- Cash, precious metals, or gemstones
- Jewellery or luxury watches
- Artworks, antiques, or collectibles
- Important personal or legal documents (e.g. passports, contracts)
