List of excluded goods for shipping via Brenger
This list forms an integral part of the Terms and Conditions for Customers of Brenger and applies in the version as published on the Platform at the time the Order is placed.
The Goods listed below may not be offered for Transport via Brenger. These exclusions are intended to safeguard safety, ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations (including ADR), and limit risks for all parties involved.
The Customer is not permitted to place an Order that relates, in whole or in part, to any of these Goods. Brenger is entitled to refuse or cancel an Order where there is reasonable doubt as to the nature of the Goods.
Illegal goods
Goods that are prohibited under national or EU legislation, including but not limited to:
- counterfeit products and illegal copies;
- narcotics, drugs or related products;
- weapons, ammunition and parts thereof.
Dangerous substances and ADR goods
All Goods classified as dangerous substances or dangerous goods under ADR or comparable (inter)national regulations, including in any event:
- flammable, explosive, oxidising, corrosive or toxic substances;
- gas cylinders, pressure vessels, aerosols and fuel tanks (including if empty);
- paints, solvents, fuels, industrial chemicals and similar substances.
Living or dead organisms
All living or dead organisms and organic material, including in any event:
- live animals and dead animals;
- plants, trees, shrubs and other living vegetation;
- animal or plant remains;
- biological waste, carcasses and comparable materials.
Food and perishable goods
Goods that are perishable, require refrigerated or heated transport, or are otherwise temperature-sensitive, including in any event fresh or chilled foodstuffs, frozen products and similar Goods. This also includes Goods whose quality, safety or shelf life depends on specific transport conditions.
Goods requiring continuous specialist handling
Goods that require continuous specialist handling, monitoring or intervention during Transport, where the absence thereof would result in an unacceptable safety or liability risk.
Valuable Goods
Goods of (very) high value, particular fragility or irreplaceable nature, including in any event:
- cash, precious metals or gemstones;
- jewellery and watches;
- works of art, antiques and collectibles;
- important personal or legal documents (such as passports, deeds, contracts or comparable originals).
Loose or Unpackaged Materials
Goods consisting of loose materials and/or Goods that are not properly packaged or bundled (in original or equivalent packaging), including in any event sand, gravel, soil, rubble, (loose) bricks, tiles and comparable bulk materials.
