4. Delivery Service
4.1 Type of vehicle
The Carrier uses standard vans or box trucks unless otherwise agreed. Brenger may refuse orders if the provided specifications do not match the available vehicle.
4.2 Use of equipment
The standard service does not include tools such as pallet jacks, forklifts, cranes, trailers, moving lifts, or protective materials. This must be arranged in advance with Brenger.
4.3 Collection and delivery to the desired room and floor
The Carrier will, by default, collect the Product and deliver it to the desired room at the collection or delivery address, including the floor where the room is located, provided it is accessible without additional risks or equipment (such as via a regular staircase or elevator).
5. Use of the Delivery Service
5.1 Permitted dimensions and weight
Maximum dimensions per Product: 400 cm (L) x 180 cm (H) x 160 cm (W).
Maximum weight per Product: 75 kg.
Maximum total volume per Order: 5 m³.
Maximum total weight per Order: 200 kg.
Goods may not be so large or heavy that special equipment is required. See article 5.2 for excluded goods. Brenger and the Carrier reserve the right to refuse or cancel shipment orders if the Product exceeds these limits.
5.2 Exclusion of certain goods
The following goods may not be shipped via Brenger. These restrictions are in place to ensure the safety of our carriers, comply with legal regulations, and protect all parties involved:
● Goods that exceed weight and dimension limits of Brenger (see article 5.1).
● Goods requiring special equipment such as pallet trucks, cranes, forklifts, trailers, or moving lifts.
● Goods requiring specialist skills or care, such as pianos or medical equipment.
● Loose, unpackaged materials such as sand, gravel, bricks, tiles.
● Dangerous goods such as flammable, explosive, corrosive, or toxic substances; gas cylinders, fuel containers (even empty); paint, solvents, or industrial chemicals.
● Living or dead organisms, including plants, flowers, seeds; pets, insects, animals (living or dead); animal bodies or biological samples.
● Food and perishable goods: items that are temperature-sensitive or have a short shelf life.
● Illegal goods under national or EU law, such as counterfeit items, narcotics, weapons, or ammunition.
Brenger and the Carrier reserve the right to refuse or cancel shipment orders if the Product is on the above list.
5.3 Preparation of the Product
The Seller must prepare the Product according to the instructions below. Brenger and the Carrier reserve the right to refuse or cancel shipment orders if the Product is not prepared according to these instructions.
a. Disassembly and Transportability
If necessary, the Seller must (partially) disassemble the Product so that it can be safely removed from the premises by a maximum of two (2) people. The Product and any parts must fit through standard doorways, stairwells, and elevators. The Seller should only disassemble parts strictly necessary for safe and accessible transport.
b. Securing Movable Parts
Movable parts of the Product, including but not limited to doors and drawers, must be secured with tape or straps before transport to prevent damage during transit.
c. Attaching Accessories
Loose parts and accessories, such as screws, remote controls, and keys, must be placed in a closed bag by the Seller and securely attached to the Product.
d. Documentation of Product Condition
The Seller must take clear photos of the Product and its packaging before collection. These photos serve as proof of the condition in which the Product was handed over for transport.
e. Packaging requirements
In principle, packaging is not required. By way of exception, the following Goods must be protectively packaged:
● Fragile Goods (including glass, natural stone, ceramics, marble): must be individually wrapped in bubble wrap on both sides, with cardboard sheets for protection and empty spaces filled with packing paper.
● Goods made of stainless steel: must be wrapped with a soft cloth or film, with an outer layer of bubble wrap.
● Electric bicycles: must be transported with the battery installed in the bike. The battery must be switched off. Shipping batteries separately is not allowed.
5.4 Presence at Collection and Delivery
The Carrier provides two (2) separate time indications of up to four (4) hours each for collection and delivery of the Product. This indication is visible to both the Buyer and Seller via the Brenger tracking page and is intended as an estimate. Until 8:00 p.m. on the day before transport, the Carrier may change the time indication within the chosen time slot (08:00-18:00). After that, changes are only possible in consultation with Brenger and the relevant Buyer or Seller. No rights can be derived from the time indication.
The Contact Person at the collection or delivery location—being the Seller or Buyer, or a designated representative—must be present at the communicated time and for at least fifteen (15) minutes thereafter to hand over or receive the Product from the Carrier.
If no one is present at the stated time, and the Carrier:
a. has made at least two (2) attempts to contact the provided Contact Person by phone; and
b. has reported the situation to Brenger before departure,
then the Carrier is not obliged to collect or deliver the Product. In that case, this is considered a failed collection or delivery attempt as referred to in articles 7.2 or 7.3.
5.5 Access and Reachability at Collection and Delivery
The Seller and Buyer are each responsible for the proper accessibility and safe reachability of the collection and delivery address, respectively. They must ensure that:
a. the address is accessible for the type of vehicle used by the Carrier;
b. the relevant collection and/or delivery room is accessible, and the passage thereto is free of obstacles; and
c. reasonable precautions have been taken to prevent damage to property, including but not limited to floors, walls, doorways, and stairwells.
If the execution of the order is wholly or partly impossible due to poor access, unsafe conditions, or physical limitations not previously reported to Brenger or the Carrier, this is considered a failed collection or delivery attempt as referred to in articles 7.2 or 7.3.
5.6 Confirmation of Delivery and Reporting Obligation
The Carrier registers the delivery of the Product via the Brenger Platform. This registration serves as confirmation that the delivery was successful, unless the Buyer reports otherwise within 48 hours of this registration.
If no report is received within this period, it is assumed that the Product was delivered correctly. Vinted Go is responsible for informing the Buyer of this period and for following up on reports submitted within this period. Brenger coordinates further handling in cooperation with the Carrier and, if necessary, with Vinted Go.
6. Changes to the Order
If you want to change the shipment order (such as collection address, delivery address, or delivery date) as a Buyer or Seller, you can do so via the Brenger tracking page or by contacting Vinted Go. The change can only proceed if it falls within the service agreements between Brenger and Vinted Go and is communicated by the Seller or Buyer in accordance with these terms. Any additional costs or consequences of changes will be communicated to you by or via Vinted Go.
7. Cancellations, Failed Collection Attempts, and Failed Deliveries
7.1 Cancellations by Buyer or Seller via Vinted Go
If you wish to cancel the shipment order as a Buyer or Seller, this must always be done via Vinted Go. Brenger cannot accept cancellations directly from users. Vinted Go assesses the cancellation and arranges further handling, including any refund of shipping costs.
7.2 Failed Collection Attempt
If the Carrier is unable to collect the Product—for example, because the Seller is not present at the communicated time, cancels, or refuses to hand over the Product, or due to incorrect information regarding the Product or the collection location—this is registered via the Brenger Platform. In that case, the order is considered a failed collection attempt. A maximum of two (2) collection attempts per order will be made. After two (2) failed collection attempts, the order will be cancelled.
7.3 Failed Delivery or Cancellation after Collection
If the Product has already been collected but cannot be successfully delivered by the Carrier—for example, because the Buyer is not present at the communicated time, refuses to accept the Product, cancels the purchase, or due to incorrect information regarding the delivery location—this is registered via the Brenger Platform. In that case, the order is considered a failed delivery attempt.
Brenger will initially contact the Buyer to discuss an alternative delivery option and will notify Vinted Go via the platform. If no solution is found within a reasonable period (maximum 48 hours after notification), an alternative solution will be sought in consultation with Vinted Go, which may consist of one of the following actions:
● rescheduling the delivery to a new time;
● return shipment to the collection address or an alternative address;
● destruction of the Product.
A maximum of two (2) delivery attempts per order will be made. After two (2) failed delivery attempts, the order will be cancelled and the Product returned to the Seller.
7.4 Cancellation by the Carrier
If the Carrier cancels the order after accepting it, Brenger will—if possible—arrange a replacement Carrier to complete the order. The Seller and Buyer will be informed via the Brenger Platform.
8. The Transport Agreement and the Role of Brenger
As soon as you place an order via Vinted Go, a transport agreement is formed between Vinted Go and the Carrier. Brenger is not a party to this agreement. Brenger only provides the platform and checks basic information of Carriers. The execution is the responsibility of the Carrier. Brenger is not responsible for the execution of the order.
9. Prices and Payments
9.1 Prices
The prices for the delivery service are set by Vinted Go. Brenger has no influence on the amount or composition of these prices and is not a party to them.
9.2 Payment and Refunds
Payment of shipping costs and any refunds are handled entirely via Vinted Go. Brenger is not a party to and has no responsibility for the handling of payments or refunds. For questions about this, users can contact Vinted Go.
10. Damage and Complaints
10.1 Damage and Loss
If damage or loss occurs to the shipment during transport, the Buyer must report this to Vinted Go within 48 hours of delivery. Vinted Go will assess the claim and arrange further handling.
The maximum compensation per order is €250, in accordance with the agreements between Brenger and Vinted Go.
Brenger and Vinted Go are not responsible for:
a. Damage to property at the collection or delivery address—such as walls, stairwells, floors, gardens, or other parts of the premises—unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing;
b. Damage to the Product as a result of inadequate packaging, including packaging that deviates from the instructions described in article 5.3, unless otherwise agreed in writing or the damage is demonstrably unrelated to the packaging.
10.2 Complaints
Complaints about the delivery service can be submitted via Vinted Go after confirming delivery via the tracking page, or by sending an email to info@brenger.nl. Brenger will handle the complaint and coordinate further handling, possibly in consultation with Vinted Go or the Carrier.
10.3 Responsibility for Information
Brenger is not responsible for damage or additional costs arising from incorrect, incomplete, or outdated information provided by or on behalf of Vinted Go, the Buyer, or the Seller, unless Brenger acted intentionally or with gross negligence.
Brenger does not actively monitor content shared via the platform, such as messages or comments. Unlawful or incorrect information will be removed or blocked as soon as possible, according to the notice-and-take-down policy.
11. Operational Communication
Operational communication about the shipment takes place via the Brenger Platform (for example, via the tracking page) or via Brenger Support. This contact is intended for the execution of the service and does not affect the legal relationship: Brenger and Vinted Go remain the only contracting parties. In urgent cases, Brenger may contact the Buyer or Seller directly by phone or email.
12. Final Provisions
12.1 Amendments
Brenger may amend these terms from time to time. If the amendment has significant consequences for the use of the service by Vinted Go, Brenger will inform Vinted Go accordingly.
12.2 Nullity
If any provision of these terms is void or voidable, this does not affect the validity of the other provisions. The relevant provision will be replaced by a valid provision that most closely reflects the original intent.
12.3 Privacy
Brenger processes personal data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If Brenger processes personal data on behalf of Vinted Go in the execution of these terms, the parties will enter into a separate data processing agreement. The privacy statement on the Brenger website explains which personal data Brenger processes independently and for what purposes.
12.4 Confidentiality
Brenger will treat confidential information provided by Vinted Go as confidential. This applies to all information you indicate as confidential, or which is reasonably understood to be confidential.
12.5 Language and Interpretation
These terms are drawn up in Dutch. In the event of a conflict between a translated version and the Dutch version, the Dutch version prevails.
12.6 Applicable Law
These terms and the use of the service are governed by Dutch law, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise, for example because the consumer can invoke local consumer protection in the country where the consumer resides.
12.7 Disputes
Disputes between you and Brenger will preferably be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam. If you are a consumer and live in another EU country, you may also be able to appeal to the court in your own place of residence, as determined by applicable consumer law.
